Port Jervis Free Library

The String Trio of New York, an internationally known chamber jazz group of acoustic violin, guitar and bass, will be presenting a concert on May 31 at 7:00 p.m. at the Library.

Critics have called the award-winning String Trio of New York "one of the finest avant-garde chamber jazz groups around.” Since their founding in 1977, they have been regulars at jazz festivals such as Ravinia and Newport and have been featured on National Public Radio's Weekend Edition and PRI's International Concerts.

"This program is funded, in part, by Orange County Tourism and the County of Orange. Also, this program is made possible with public funds fro the New York State Council on the arts, celebrating 50 years of building strong, creative communities in New York State's 62 counties."
